About Us
The Slade Point Progress Association is a community-driven group dedicated to strengthening connections within Slade Point and the greater Mackay area.
We bring people together through events and markets, support local businesses, and advocate for our suburb by working with council and community stakeholders.

Our community markets are a vibrant gathering space where local vendors, small businesses, and creatives come together to showcase their products, services, and talents.
From handmade goods and unique finds to fresh food and local specialties, our markets offer something for everyone while creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere for the whole community.

Ready to be part of our next market?
We have introduced a garden gallery with quirky artwork scattered
around to create interest in a space that promotes engagement,
enjoyment and education
We have a garden Library available to all, to take a book or leave a
book.
Our regular working bee is Sunday 3 to 5 pm ,an ideal time to catch up
with any requests or questions, all welcome.
The generosity of the Slade Point Bowls Club has enabled the
establishment of our garden and we encourage your support. It is a
great place to grow community.

We organize a range of events throughout the year to bring the community together and create memorable experiences.
